ORIGIN: Found in the top of the tallest trees in Tennasserim range in Myanmar and Thailand at elevations around 1400 meters. DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, Warm to cool growing epiphyte with slender, branching, suberect stems that are strongly swollen at the nodes carrying a few, oblong-obtuse, decidouous leaves flowering in the spring on an axillary, few [1 to 2] flowered inflorescence with delicately fragrant flowers that arises from the upper leaf nodes of leafless canes and can produce for several seasons, occurring from March through May but only if given a very dry and cool winter rest until the buds appear and then water and fertilize heavily.
HOW TO GROW DENDROBIUM ORCHIDS
Potting: Use smallest slotted pot to fit root zone
Media: Use open media like charcoal, treated coco chips
Water: Water on alternative days or when the top one inch of the media is dry
Fertilizers: Use water soluble NPK 19 19 19 half teaspoon in one litre of water weekly once thoroughly drench the media and spray the plant also
Light : Give Morning or late afternoon direct sunlight
Humidity: Daily mist the plant with water one to two times
