Phaiocalanthe Kryptonite Ursula AOS is an orchid hybrid that was originated by E.F.G. Orchids in 2000. It is a cross between Calanthe Rozel and Phaius tankervilleae. This hybrid clone blooms with beautiful 3" wide dark red flowers displayed on 3-foot tall spikes in the fall to winter months.
Phaiocalanthe Kryptonite is a semi-terrestrial orchid that prefers to be moist (almost wet) all the time. It can be a deciduous plant and can drop its leaves most anytime with a change in temperature or light . Another hybrid of Phaiocalanthe Kryptonite is Phcal. Kryptonite 'Parkside' AM/AOS, which is a semi-terrestrial hybrid with an inflorescence of vibrant magenta flowers
