Helens Bulb-Leaf Orchid is a small sized ochid, growing on trees or rocks with 3-6 cm between each long-ovoid pseudobulb. Flowers are yellowish green with red spots. Dorsal sepal is ovate, concave, about 6 x 3.2 mm, tip blunt; lateral sepals lanceshaped, about 32 x 3 mm, 5-veined, twisted near base, their upper and lower edges fused to each other forming a horn-shaped synsepal. Petals are ovate-triangular, about 3 x 3 mm, base about 1/3 width adnate to column foot, margins fringed, tip aristate; lip nearly ovate-lanceshaped, about 3 x 0.7 mm, fleshy, grooved at base, tip tapering. Flowering stems are 1 or 2, from base of pseudobulbs, erect, 14-18 cm, carrying 5-9 stinky flowers. Flower-cluster-stalks are with 3 or 4 sheaths 12-15 mm; floral bracts lanceshaped, about 6 mm, tip tapering. Flower-stalks and ovary are about 11 mm. The plant carries a single, apical, erect, leathery, oblong leaf, which narrows below into a stalked base. Helens Bulb-Leaf Orchid is found in Himalaya to China
